La Posta Cocina Tinto Blend, 2010
This find came through a Saturday of browsing one of our larger LCBO’s in Toronto. Nonetheless, in my quest to explore Argentina, I have started trying out new vineyards to get a better feel for the area and this tinto blend, is just one of those finds.
The La Posta Cocina Tinto Blend is a combination of Malbec, Syrah and Bonarda grapes and what a lovely combination it is. This wine takes very little time to form once opened, but if you are alone you may not want to open this one for a night cap before bed. Unlike some of the Malbec’s that you can get away with drinking the next day, after first opened, you can’t do the same with this one. It’s a sour drink the day after, but a delight at first pour.
This Tinto blend can be found in the LCBO for only $12.95
