As promised, this spring I am going out on a white wine blitz, and to start off the ‘white’ spring is this lovely white wine blend from France.

Many wine drinkers that I encounter, claim to have a preference for reds over whites and often because of the acidity strength or to the other extreme the sweetness many align a white wine with.  This white blend however, I strongly recommend because it does none of the above to the drinker; it is well balanced, therefore avoiding the tart feel of acidity you find in some wines and the over bearing sweetness, some like to avoid.

The blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Bourboulenc grape varieties makes this wine a real treat. Many wine pundits have called the M. Chapoutier Côtes du Rhône Belleruche 2010, the best white wine produced by M. Chapoutier.

I would highly recommend this white blend as a party favourite, appealing to all wine palates

This wine retails in the LCBO for $14.95
