Château Bonnet Entre-Deux-Mers Blanc, 2009 – France
This edition of our Spring Whites theme features André Lurton’s three varietal blend, Château Bonnet Entre-Deux-Mers Blanc.
Talk about a wonderful wine experience and I think there is a bit of a theme here. Last weeks rave was another French white, but don’t worry, we’re venturing to Oregon next. Nonetheless, this varietal blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle, from the region of Bordeaux, is a beauty. With a refined smoothness and balance it would act as a great addition to any white fish dinner or even a social talk, as I like to call it. It’s extreme fruit filled sentiment on the palate, coupled with the hints of flowers, melon and lime one gets when nosing, adds to this wines position as a great addition to any dinner party or event. This comes highly recommended!
