While in Antigua, we had our fill of white wines to accompany the brilliant, warm weather and beautiful beaches that consumed us, and Masi Masianco was one of the whites we had the pleasure of exploring.
On colour, the Masi Masianco Pinot Grigio and Verduzzo 2011 white wine blend consists of a sturdy golden hue. On the nose, lemon, and peach scents are present, and on the palate, you’ll note that it is a crisp white wine with citrus notes persisting throughout, with some minerality, added to a tempered fruit forward taste.
Fortunately, we had the pleasure of trying the Masianco Pinot Grigrio/Verduzzo blend, while at Jacqui O’s Beach House in Antigua, and paired it with the chef’s fish tacos. Now you can’t beat that!
We gave this wine a score of 3 out of 5.
