Mission Hill Quatrain 2009

As the Mission Hill website explains “A Quatrain is a poem or stanza that is always composed of four lines”, and the elegance and beauty in intelligence that speaks through the definition, is what you experience while drinking Mission Hill’s 2009 Quatrain, which is a red blend of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.

On colour, the Mission Hill Family Estate Quatrain 2009 holds a deep garnet red hue.  On the nose, scents of cherry, blackberries and spice are present.  On the palate, smoothly refined tannins, berries, tobacco and vanilla provide an unforgettable long finish. This is a complex red blend that continues to give, the more you drink it. It is a truly elegant, yet full bodied wine, and if you chose to drink it now, decant and let it breath for 45 minutes.

This wine retails at the LCBO for $44.95

We gave this wine a score of 4 out of 5
