A few weeks ago, in our Good Food And Drink post, we mentioned touring the exhibit floor and spending a bit of time with the Dreaming Tree Wines folk, who were on site. Our then introduction to their Crush Red Blend wine was a brief one, but all be it worth doing a full review.
Dreaming Tree Wines is a labour of love from wine maker Steve Reeder and rock start Dave Matthews. The Dreaming Tree wine line now carries three wines, a Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and of course the Crush Red Blend we’re talking about today.
On colour, the Dreaming Tree Crush Red Blend holds a ruby red hue. On the nose scents of plum, raspberry, strawberry and very light spice, while on the palate, you’ll pick up a burst of red berry fruit tastes with a nicely corresponding tannic presence, forming a smooth mouth feel.
This is an easy drinking, everyday wine.
This wine retails at the LCBO for $16.95
