I have plenty of positives to share about British Columbia Chardonnay and Red Wine Blends. Yes, I have had some beauties in my travels and it was the sum of these past BC experiences that led us to try Stoneboat Vineyards, Pinot Noir 2012.

On colour, the Stoneboat Pinot Noir 2012 holds a delicate ruby hue.  On the nose, scents of cherry, spice, and strawberry are noted. On the palate, an abundance of red berries, vanilla, licorice, and spice are present. On the mouth, this Pinot Noir shows unprecedented attitude making it quite the experience.

If you have a bottle of Stoneboat Pinot Noir 2012 in your hands feel free to drink it now, but let it breathe for an hour. If you have access to a cellar, you can also lay it down for 12 to 24 months and then enjoy.

This wine retails at the LCBO for $29.95
