Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine I particularly enjoy tasting, given its presence in almost every wine growing region of the world. Each bottle beholds something different from the rest premised by its region of growth, winemaker and of course vintage. Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon, from Duckhorn Vineyards in Sonoma County, holds much of the traits one would expect from a Californian Cab Sav; black fruits, anise and bold structure.

On colour, the Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 holds a deep eggplant hue. On the nose, bell peper, cherry and plum are noted.  On the palate, you will be greeted by well-balanced tannins that dance amongst a blend of black fruits, light oak and a finishing touch of anise. This wine brings with it a long finish that adds to a great wine experience.
